Do you prefer a Honda Ridgeline or Chevy Avalanche?

Quote
The most towing I would be doing would be about an 18 foot speed boat. Ohter then that just what the versatility to carry passengers, but cargo as well. What do you think? And why? Thanks

Why this topic still a debate to this date else where?  :wtf:

Has anyone on the wrong side of the debate ever driven an Avalanche ? I get almost the same mpg as the 6 cylinder Ridgeline, I have way more towing capacity, more passenger space, a full size box with locking covers when needed. I'll grant the Honda is cheaper outright but what about longevity ? The 5.3 V8s have been known to perform just as good as new at well over 100,000 miles.

My 1994 S10 Chevy ext cab 4 cyl is better than a Ridgeline, it has a body on frame.
I'm not going on the Ridgeline sites to debate it but I'm serious,...

I wouldn't trade the '94 S10 Chevy for a brand new Ridgeline

These two vehicles aren't even in the same class. The Ridgeline is a mid-size. JMO, but I wouldn't want to tow 5000 lbs with a unibody "truck". It's nothing but a car with bigger tires and a cargo bed. Full frame is the only way to go if you want to do real work. Although, the 18 foot boat probably doesn't weigh more than 3000 lbs. Seating for 5 passengers? My Colorado has seatbelts for me and 5 chicks.

Someone should take two Avalanches and pull a Ridgeline in to two pieces then let them ask which one is better.

The decision is an easy one for people with even half a brain, especially if you ever plan on mods (which those that come to a forum... who doesn't????)

Some evidence:

2007 Avalanche

06-08 ridgeline
http://www.magnaflow.com/04sound/trucksound/ridgelinel.htm

which one would you like to be heard and seen driving??? Enough said.

You should hear my '94 S10 4 cyl throaty sound, it has an exaust leak  2funny

Don't laugh, I wouldn't trade it for a Ridgeline. The '94 Chevy ext cab has 45,000 miles on it and was paid-off in 1994, sliding rear window and matching fiberglass topper with screened sliding side windows. It's still stock too

I tell you what happens when people put a ridgeline up against a avalanche. The avalanche uses the ridge as a toilet and takes a shit on it andthe ridge, unable to do anything about it takes it like a little bitch and then the avalanche just drives away. This comparison is a joke....
