Do you prefer a Honda Ridgeline or Chevy Avalanche?

The most towing I would be doing would be about an 18 foot speed boat. Ohter then that just what the versatility to carry passengers, but cargo as well. What do you think? And why? Thanks

Why this topic still a debate to this date else where? 

Has anyone on the wrong side of the debate ever driven an Avalanche ? I get almost the same mpg as the 6 cylinder Ridgeline, I have way more towing capacity, more passenger space, a full size box with locking covers when needed. I'll grant the Honda is cheaper outright but what about longevity ? The 5.3 V8s have been known to perform just as good as new at well over 100,000 miles.

My 1994 S10 Chevy ext cab 4 cyl is better than a Ridgeline, it has a body on frame.
I'm not going on the Ridgeline sites to debate it but I'm serious,...

I wouldn't trade the '94 S10 Chevy for a brand new Ridgeline
