I have a Garmin I-Que...but I don't use it anymore for the GPS, only the Palm Pilot functions.  Have a Decker GPS that really ROCKS!!  Use it for work and play both

I'd have to punch that into my GM Nav unit to find it.  I am thinking of one for Twiggy. She's liking the ATT Tilt with live gps tracking and planning. It's $10 a month extra to your bill so I try to tell her in 1 to 1 1/2 years time she could have a Garmin instead. I don't think she's buying it.

Just picked up a 255wt the other day and am updating the maps right now. I've got to look around to find other voices and cars to mods this thing with.

Street Pilot C530 but I found a way to convert it to the C550 which calls out street names. I'm just scared to delete the files required to install the new stuff. Been through Hawaii, North & South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa, Texas, Missouri, Florida and Western Canada with it and the old girl hasn't failed me yet.

I have a Tom Tom One which I use

Bought a Knight Rider GPS by Mio from a club member from the "other" club which I never opened

Bought a Garmin NUVI 255 in which I was going to give it away as a Christmas present, but I am selfish and decided to keep and use it. :ass1000:

Theyre like cellphones, they claim less dropped calls but we still get dropped on occasion.

I've got a Garmin etrex Legend handheld that I've never learned to use properly. I'd like to learn to use it to put in routes, home points, etc. I can use it for basic navigation but that's about it.

It would be nice to use it correctly the next time I'm in the middle of nowhere on an elk hunt - the guides always use them to mark the starting point when you leave the vehicle. I'd like to at least know how to do the same and to be able to navigate back there by myself.

We've got the GM navi unit on the Enclave and have been lead astray a few times. I would rather have a portable unit that you can move from vehicle to vehicle and can update over the Internet.
2002 LPM Z71, factory 4.10s - Magnacharger w/3" pulley, TOG's headers, 216/224-.551/.551-115 cam/pushrods/dual springs/titanium retainers, built tranny, Yank TT2600 stall converter, 24K GVW Tru-Cool tranny cooler,  Flex-A-Lites, ProCold intake, MSD wires & TR6 plugs, 20" Panther Juice 6's, 2.8" rear lowering springs & assorted hardware, J&J Enterprises stainless grille, body-color painted taillight covers. Self-tuned with HP Tuners software.

Cracked rear bumper cover from a run-in with a deer in fall 2008!

Nuvi 360 for the car and a handheld Garmin etrex Vista HCx.

You can do two things to get yourself back to the vehicle:

Go into the main menu and choose the Mark, then name it something and hit OK, that will store your vehicle location, when you want to go back you select Find - Waypoints, and select whatever you typed in before, it will give you a direct line back to the vehicle.

The other way is to use Tracks, start it at the vehicle, then when you want to go back you use the trackback.  But that will take you over the exact path you walked in on, so if you were going in circles chasing some animal, you will be going in circles back.

I was not planning on the etrex vista model.  But when I was at Cabelas I asked the guy what was on sale, and the vista ended up to be the same price as the one I was going to get.  And I got a map package with it.

I have had a few Garmin GPS units.  All have worked great for me.  Currently I have my old Quest in my wife's Av and I have a c580 in mine.

I will most likely upgrade both in the next couple of years as the Quest is getting old and I don't feel like paying for the map upgrades for it and the c580 will not be able to do the Traffic, etc updates after 2012 due to MS cancelling the MSNDirect service then.

Not sure what I'll upgrade to, but we'll see what's available then.

Got the Garmin Nuvi 285wt for Christmas from the kids.  Used it for the hour-long drive to the sister-in-law's Christmas day.  Seems to be a pretty good unit.  I'll likely use it mostly for finding places to eat dinner during work trips.

18x10 Forged Weld Wheels, BFG g-Force KDWs, JBA shorties, custom catback with FM70, Crane plug wires, Trailblazer Torque Converter, bigger cam, efans, HP Tuners custom tune, WAAG stuff, mildly boosted with Vortech Supercharger.......

I have used the NAV system that came in my Av and it sucks compared to my Nuvi.  It looks all fancy and has a big display, but the navigation portion leaves a lot to be desired.  My wife thought she was getting the Nuvi for the Jag when I got this thing, but I don't see that happening.
