Not sure how the oil line connects, but I'd be surprised if they weren't hard line ends.
If they are hard line, then get a brass tee or coupler and plug the other end.

Golf tees work great for plugging vacuum lines.

If you have an oil drain like a turbo, a cork works pretty good to plug that up.

I meant to say bearings aren't covered......you said you had to pack it up and send it in for repairs out of your own pocket, or were you just talking about shipping?
