I was going to do the Grand Am tonight, but ran out of time before the wings game.  On a side note, the guy who designed the 07+ headlights on the Av must have done the 99+ Grand Am's... I was just going to pull it off and do it inside, but found out you have to take half of the front end out to get the light out!
There are 2 kinds of people: those who Av, and those who Av not!

The headlight on the G/A came out pretty well, it was in a lot worse shape than my brake light was though.  One of these days I might get a little stronger grit and spend a couple hours sanding, buy I am fairly pleased with the results!  Then I gave it a little wash n wax to take some pics  :evil5:

  What's the purpose of soaking the sandpaper? 

I never heard of soaking the sandpaper and I've wet sanded many times. I guess I did soak the sand paper  :uglystupid2:   

The reason is real fine grit sandpaper clogs fast with the material you are removing, use a bucket and rinse the debris from the sandpaper so it doesn't become smooth. Soak larger surfaces with a sponge or rag if needed and dip your sandpaper in the bucket often to clean it.
