Are you willing to travel to Quincy,Illinois?
« on: June 02, 2008, 04:10:12 PM »
Are you willing to travel to Quincy,Illinois in September for MAC's birthday?

We didnt do any anniversary party gtg last year cuz we where very small then. WE have grown and the mayority of MAC members reside in Missouri so i thought, why not?

Depending on the "maybes" i would like to gtg at Shottenkirk Chevrolet in Quincy,IL around or close to September 4th. Still i need to contact Rich Poe general manager and see if we can gather on his lot on such day.  If not,i'll try Lou Fouz Chevrolet in ST. Louis.

Quincy + ST. Louis = 2hr drive
Quincy + Kansas = 3.5hr drive
Quincy + Chicago = 5.5hr drive

Any thoughts?

Sure.... but the 4th is a Thursday....  right after Labor Day weekend.... but set something up I'd be interested.

Gonna have room to put us all up for the weekend?    :evil5:

Mapquest says 6 hours for me.  (I think I could do it in 5 if I really wanted to!   :fast:)

It would have to be more than a couple-hour gtg to justify that much gas for me (more than $100).

18x10 Forged Weld Wheels, BFG g-Force KDWs, JBA shorties, custom catback with FM70, Crane plug wires, Trailblazer Torque Converter, bigger cam, efans, HP Tuners custom tune, WAAG stuff, mildly boosted with Vortech Supercharger.......

It can be done before or after the 4th or even @ Lou Fousz Chevrolet dealership in STL,but it maybe hard for me to market MAC as its 2 hrs away when i can market here 10 mins away.

...and yes, lodging can be arranged at my house and/or i could go out and try to get a group discount at the local hotels. :winkani:

If you get me and KY Bob up there, we can have an 02 and 03 HPTuners tuneathon!

I wouldn't think though that he's any closer than I am.   :sotired:

It's a 5 hour drive for me too -  banghead1

9.5 from here, but we've done longer drives than that  :evil5:
There are 2 kinds of people: those who Av, and those who Av not!

Sold: White 02 Z71
Currently: 05 Ford Focus Wagon - The Budmobile!  Definitely not an Av, but no payment, no insurance, and no gas!
