New visitors center this year.  I just got some info over the weekend that the new cyclorama building will be opening in the fall.

Any banners for these?
I think just the combined one with a bunch of events listed.

Hey Freebie, are you from PA?

No, I live in MI, but KAC was the first site I found when I got my Av so I try to still check in from time to time.  I was a civil war major in college, so a trip to Gettysburg is worth the 8 or 9 hours drive for me  :evil5:

See, now I have to make it out that way sometime soon, the cycloramam there is very unique...  my last class in college consisted of a 3 week trip though VA, WV, MD, and PA with about 24 students and 2 profs.  We stayed in Gettysburg for 3 days and that was by far my favorite part.  We snuck into the cemetary after the bar one night, saw some crazy things!

Yes I have heard about that, the battle field is apparently the local make out spot.

Didn't see any of that   All day people were trying to sell us tickets for haunted tours through the cemetary at night, so we decided to do our own.  Lots of noises and things moving around (although I'm sure the drinks at the bar had absolutely nothing to do with it  :evil5: )  We didn't stick around long, didn't want Gettysburg finest to find a couple college kids hanging around after dark...
