From what I've been reading, they use the train horns.  The sound probably sounds different because of it's venue - that huge arena.  Get's a huge echo effect...  :dunno: Here's a link to different kind of horns to play with. LINK  Click on the yellow bar with "View ???? catalog" and the next page will have sound clips under each horn.

Oh, a word of advice?  DON'T play the horn clips at 2am when your family is sleeping.  It can get ugly fast

I thought they used those little air cannister horns ?

The steam engine train at Crossroads Village horn is loud on Mott Lake, I'd never been out in a boat on Mott Lake before. I didn't realize it was so big and rural/parkland on almost the entire lake. The train horn echoes across the water nice. Mott Lake is a dammed up reservoir on the Flint River.

The ones Oviedo sells are a nice set up, Great sound, great support of his product. Personally, I like the bigger air tanks. Mine are the Anvils made from Siege Engineering. I got them off Ebay for around $350 and it has a 3 gallon tank. The thing I'm not too crazy about mine is they are so big they only fit in one spot on the truck.

I've tried to put them elsewhere and the only way I'm going to be able to do that is to take them apart and separate them to mount them.
RonJ has a great set up with the ones he has. He was able to mount them behind the front bumper.

One question....Why are the insides of your rims yellow?  :hah:

Yeah I got mine behind the front bumper with a little funess.
Hard to take a pic but here they are. I bought mine from http://www.oviedosafetylights.com and Love them! I also put my air tank and compressor in the passenger side saddle bags.
Theres a metal bracket that i mounted it to.

That's a shock dummy   although I'm glad you posted those again. I thought you had the bracket facing the motor, not pointing up...I may have to play with mine again tomorrow.

I've got the anvils and have been told by train enthusiast that they are very realistic. Have you listened to the sound clips for each of them? Also, The only place I've found that I can put my Anvils is where the spare tire used to be. I'd like to move them because of the winters around here but didn't get the chance today. I may have to separate them and build an air manifold to get them moved to a more protected spot due to the size of these things.

I dont think iv heard the Kongs in person but have heard the anvils. I like my choice of horns over the Anvils. Personal preference tho. I got the Omegas from http://www.oviedosafetylights.com. I wanna put a second set on and would order another set of horns from him.

I've seen those on the web but don't think I'd want one on mine. Nice find though.
