WTB: Bow-tie for grille '04 2500
« on: May 21, 2008, 09:14:56 AM »
We went on our first trip with the Av and I just noticed the Bow-tie on our grille is chipped. :needhug:
A rock must have hit it. :dunno:

I'm looking for a replacement.

I'd like to get a billet grille, but I assume they do not come with the bow-tie.

Thanks,

Rich

The link was not complete, but I found them.
They don't seem to list our truck.
The Silverado is only listed to 2002.

Maybe I can make one out of aluminum and have it anodized or something.

Fix the chip with a little body filler then paint it body color like this.   It was super easy and gives a custom look.

I know I have seen people paint the bowtie, put a decal over it, then put some clearcoat on to protect the decal... I am thinking about getting some carbon fiber vinyl to overlay on my bowite, not crazy about the paint job I did to it...
There are 2 kinds of people: those who Av, and those who Av not!

Mine had a crack in the finish, I swapped it even up for an Arival Blue one. A member from Texas that used to have an Arrival Blue at Southern Nights GTG Alabama had it with him, my Bow-tie has more miles on it than my Avalanche.

The cladded bowtie is different than WBH isn't it ? The grille is so make sure you get the right one.

Yes, the bowties are different between the nekkid and cladded.

WHERE IT REALLY IS ABOUT THE FRIENDS AND AVY'S, AND NOT THE ALMIGHTY ADVERTISING DOLLAR!
