New cubby Av plate
« on: May 11, 2008, 03:33:57 PM »
Here's what happened today:

After a scraped up arm  :verymad:

A broken fingernail  :tickedoff:

Paul taking stupid pictures of me working on the Av  banghead1 (he waited till I couldn't let go of the wires & threw that extension cord all over... )

Here it is!!  :clappinani:  Off:

And ON!!   :cheesy1: :cheesy1: :cheesy1:

I wanted to really give Kudos to Chadstr for this project.  Not only did he do a superb job on making the plate, but the instructions he sent were so well done, I decided to tackle this myself.  And it worked!! All the lights were already put in, all the wires were connected and two pages of great instructions!  Thank you Chadstr for my new mod   I can't tell you how much I appreciate it.

That really came out great MoAv

I'm really glad Paul was around with a fire extinguisher i case you really lit the AVY up  but why are you blaming him on the extension cord :dunno:

WHERE IT REALLY IS ABOUT THE FRIENDS AND AVY'S, AND NOT THE ALMIGHTY ADVERTISING DOLLAR!

I blame him for the extension cord because I didn't use it, didn't need it, but he hauled it all the way over to where I was working just to take that picture  :knuppel2:  He's lucky I like him... 2funny

Looks like you got an owie  :tickedoff:

Just about any project I work on, I get some minor injury, though I was on a pretty good streak until yesterday.

The plate looks really nice. :yourock:

Ummmm, NO!!  I can't believe how involved that was!!  I learned things about my Av I never thought I'd know!!     It's really amazing just how much of it just pulls apart  :blink1:

I'll be glad to supervise though Tdybr... :evil5:

Nothing on the Av.
I covered the top of one of my work benches with the left over hardwood from the remodel.
I probably have the first Royal Brazilian Cherry work bench surface :dans2:
It doesn't look as nice as that cubby cover though and I don't have an cool lights.

I bought one of those Ryobi drill and countersink all-in-one tools.
When I went to pull open the packaging it took small strip of skin off my thumb.

I'll have to take some pics.

Man, that bench sound cool!  I'll bet it will be hard to use it like it's supposed to be - wouldn't want to mess up the surface

Sorry to hear about the thumb - hope the pics are of the bench, not the thumb...
