Blue's LED License Plate Frame Mod

While picking up some Royal Purple Synthetic Oil today at AutoZone,....i stumbled upon this!

Stealth Light license frame dual function LED  white/red   Part # WL-704RW   for $20

-LED Powered for long life
-Chrome plated ABS
-Dual function license plate light
-Easy installation with step-by-step instructions inside
-Wires to your truck's 12 volt source
-Hardware included



The idea here is,.....to make them come ON in "RED" when stoping and braking.
.....and to come ON in "white" when in reverse.


OFF



RED when stopping and braking



WHITE when on reverse




I would tackle this today but i have an oil change to do :thumbup:

Well....i skipped the oil change and finished this mod.

I got hosed as it didnt come with instructions.  Anywho,..... 3 leads,nothing to it.  I tapped into my LOF harness.



What i did noticed is,.... when backing up... if i have my foot on the brake just a little,the white wont come ON until i fully take my foot off the pedal.  The RED do comes ON when applying brakes.

Not allergic, just don't know what I'm doing and afraid to mess up my Av...I'm hoping at a modding GTG someone will have the time and patience to show me how to do a simple hookup so I'm not so afraid of it...

Any pics yet Blue???

Ooops!    I forgot. 

Anywho...  i think i got it wired some wrong.   When in RED,it blinks when using the turn signals.  Well....i cut it off and im only using the WHITE for reverse at the moment.   Didnt get a chance to piddle around with it this weekend.
