TrAVelinman opened the registration form for the 2008 National Chevy Avalanche Meet.

To register to this event, register to www.chevyavalanchefanclub.com and follow this link:

The post everyone has been waiting for.  It is time to open up registrations for the 2008 National Chevy Avalanche Meet in Pigeon Forge, TN being held July 19-26, 2008.  The event is being co-hosted by Carolinavalanches and TennesseeAvalanches and sanctioned by the ChevyAvalancheFanClub.  As in the past, the 2008 National Chevy Avalanche Meet will benefit a local charity with this year's beneficiary being the Smoky Mountain Childrens Home.  All proceeds above and beyond the costs incurred with the event will be donated at the Group Dinner being held at the Grand Resort Hotel & Convention Center on Saturday, July 26, 2008.  Many events have been planned and are being offered ala carte for all to enjoy.  You are encouraged to attend as many as you desire, or as few as you feel like.  Unlike events held in the Southeast in years past, the registrations for the 2008 National Chevy Avalanche Meet will include goody bags, shirts, namebadge and lanyard, group dinner, group breakfast and the infamous raffle tickets.  Different levels of Registration will be available, however at least one Primary Registration is required per Avalanche.  Below are the levels of Registrations:

Primary Registration: $60
At least one primary Registration per Avalanche is required:
Includes 1 adult registration & welcome gift bag.
1 Event T-Shirt S-5XL, 5 Raffle Tickets to each Tier of prizes...
1 Dinner Ticket, 1 Breakfast Buffet Ticket,  Lanyard, Name Badge
Gift Bag Includes: Welcome Letter, Copy of Agenda, Route Maps, Self Guided Points of Interest Information, Area Maps, Decals and more..

Additional Registrations:

Adult/12 and Up: $50
Registration for spouses and children 12 and up.
1 Event T-Shirt S-XL, 5 Raffle Tickets to each Tier of prizes...
1 Dinner Ticket, 1 Breakfast Buffet Ticket,  Lanyard, Name Badge

Children 11 and Under: $30
1 Event T-Shirt S-XL, 5 Raffle Tickets to each Tier of prizes...
1 Dinner Ticket, 1 Breakfast Buffet Ticket,  Lanyard, Name Badge

While these costs appear higher than previous events held in the past, they now include a T-Shirt up to 5XL, the Group Dinner and Group Breakfast as well.  After careful consideration, you will find that the costs, when totalled up, are the same as (a little lower even) previous events Hugz and myself have organized.  Again, all excess funds from the event will be donated to the Smoky Mountain Childrens Home.

As an added incentive to register early, those completing registration before June 21, 2008 will receive an additional ticket for a drawing to be held at the Group Dinner to give away 2 round trip airlines tickets good on Delta Airlines for anywhere they fly within the Continental USA, Canada and Mexico.  This has an approximate retail value of $1000, so register early.

To get registered go to www.ncagtg.com or click HERE.  In addition to the registration, there are options to order additional shirts
(T-Shirts, Muscle Shirts, Crew Neck Sweatshirts and Hooded Sweatshirts) should you desire.  Once registration is completed, you will be added to the Officially Registered list and map.

We look forward to seeing you in Pigeon Forge in July!!

Yep, just wrote out my check for $160 for 3.

Can't wait for the gas to get up to $4.00 by then, plus all the extras you want to do when you get there.  But if it's anything like last years.......it'll be a great time with a lifetime of memories....(priceless.)

It's cheap really, it costs far more than $50 each to attend a concert or major sporting event. Free Parking! you get a limited edition T-shirt, a couple meals and other goodies in your welcome package. If you bring a non-registered guest they won't be eligible to participate (freeload). I might make it down for the final weekend, I'll pay my $110 and bring a buddy if Wendy won't go. Things are still in the air with my job,...

Well sorry to report that I am going to have to pass again this year. I have been waiting till the last minute because I have been trying to figure some things out. Basically in a nutshell, I am retiring from the Air Force after 22 1/2 yrs Feb 1,  2009. My ceremony is 7 Nov, 2008. With that being said I can't use anymore leave without adjusting my ceremony date and that has been set where it is due to family traveling from Va.

I was looking forward to going this year but right now my retirement is taking precedence.

I apologize to everyone but hopefully we can have more local GTG's this year than last.

Bullbar, Sailpanel LED'S, Elec Tgate & Sbag Locks, Custom Decals, Ventvisors, Lund Bug Guard, Amber's, All 4 Hi FTDRL, Mag Lite/Fire Ext Mod, Headrest Monitors, bedslide
