This is probably the most common thread in any Av site.

How many miles does your Av has?

When i got home from Wally-World i looked at the odometer and saw that i just broke the 29k (29003k) :thumb:

Mine is not that old. Mine is an '04 daily driver. Now my work place is 3 miles away. I put 'bout 10 miles a day M-F and it sits there saturday and sunday.

We just bought a little beater to save on some gas! The AV can take the mileage but the gas expense was killing me.

Trade ya gas bills-ours was a little over 1300 last month. My hubby drives anywhere from 50 to 100 miles one way to work, depending on what he's doing. Drives a one ton Dodge van w/ a 460 in it. And I walk to work. Bought my Avy in July w/64,??? and it now has 74,352 on it.

I know - I can't help it. Everytime it's nice out & I'm not working I look at Paul and say "where we goin' today?" Thank God he's such a patient man!!

Although I think he's enjoying it too..I wasn't going to go to the Clarksville GTG last sunday because of the gas, but he said "I'll pay for the gas-let's go!!" Did NOT have to tell me twice...

Talked to one of my customers yesterday who had an AV, yes I said had

He sold it to a wholesaler for $13000 and it had just over 200,000 miles on it. He loved it. How he drives a Ridgeline.

I about shot him. I asked him what he thought of it and he said "I think I'll go get another AV, I saved money on the Ridgeline but it's no Avalanche."

88,000+ where did they all come from? just got it the end of sept with 81,000+ on it. Oh talked to a person in the office of the previous owner today. The guy used it to run oil wells which is what I had guessed.

I'm up to almost 52k on mine now.

I'm getting into the season where I'll start adding more miles going back & forth to the farm. I've pretty much stopped driving mine to work with regular at $3.499 a gallon and I've got to run 93 octance in mine. I did a rough calcuation on the way home yesterday and it would cost me about $16/day to drive the Av to work. I'm enjoying the 36+ mpg on my Civic right now.

$16/day or $37 for two week's driving - which makes the most sense? I guess the Av has pretty much turned into my weekend pleasure vehicle. It sucks but I guess that's the reality of it.

03 Avy, bought in Feb 2008 with 64,500 on it, now at a little less than 69,000 on it. Daily driver, work is a little over 2 mi, probaly get about 7 miles a day during the work, but look out on weekends. She'll get almost 600 miles round trip into South Texas this coming weekend. When we go somewhere I'll tell the wife, let's take your truck, she say's why? The Avy is more cortfortable and rides better. Can't argue with that...

We looked at a few F250 & F350's the other day - they look like pretty nice trucks. Not an Av of course, but for something to pull a trailer I think they'd be great! I'd hate to drive one daily though...

I purchased my Av in early April with 18,200 miles, drove it from Southern Texas to Michigan, which added about 1,600 to that. Normally, I put 9,500 miles per year on any given vehicle. Right now, my Av has just under 29,000 miles. A rough yearly projection using my current driving habits puts me at somewhere around 13,500 per year. Seems I like driving my Av. I hate seeing the miles creep up. Oh well. I bought it to drive it and love it, and I am doing both. I will say that I welcome the current gas prices. In the peak of the summer, I paid $117 per tank. Yesterday, I filled her up for about $42.
