Mine is the Altec and I've had it for over 4 years.
I just looked at the Altec brand, actually the new Fireyes light bar (which has the stainless steel protective casing). Are you using an in-line (T type) plug in adapter in the rear harness that allows you to plug in the flat four into it?Thanks, FH
I am using the draw tite adapter that plugs in behind the trailer plug.Something like this... in fact it was this... LINKY THINKY
Cool, Thanks. I was thinking of the type that plugs into the wiring harness.
I use the adapter as well. I found mine at Lowe's for around $25. It works great. Although my LOF is the plamsaglow brand. It got wet and some of the lights aren't working so i will be replacing that with my government supplement in May.
This Altec looks pretty nice! The new Fireyes Safety Light Bar has the Stainless steel protective casing which they claim offers better protection for the LEDs and emits brighter lighting due to the reflection from the Stainless. The price I found is $79.99ea plus $14.00 for shipping. Not sure if that is a good price or not??FH
Where did you find it at?I saw one on stylin concepts I think that had stainless steel as well. Not sure if it is the same one or not.
