Justifiable homicide is right! If only I knew who did it. The mark goes all the way to the metal about a foot across the center of the nose of the hood. It continues on to the side in kind of a hit & miss pattern, but those are not all the way to the metal. Happened either Saturday night/Sunday morning the weekend before Fire & Ice. Someone decided to get creative either at the movie theater Sat, or in front of the house during the night I'm debating on putting in an insurance claim, since the hood has to be repainted (not cheap!!), but since my rates just went down I hate to disrupt that. We'll see....Goodmark hood?? Hmmmmm....
Where did you find that kind of deal Blue?? I had gone to Auto Trim Design in Cape about 3-4 months ago, and they wanted 1200!! That was painted, but still!
Added a couple of decals to the Av today Now I need to find something to cover my nice hood decoration: Right back atcha girlie!!!
Thanks JR. I particularly interested in the double scoop type - it will be at least a month before I can do anything so take your time! Gotta pay taxes first
And just where do you think I got the idea Jeff? I figured you wouldn't mind a little copy catting....
Like Anna's hood
Jr, are you sure you have the right decal? Seems out of place on YOUR truck.
Oooooo, that's right....That looked great too! Hmmmmm. Think I could get away with that too?
I can get the Goodmark hoods here in Denver for $350.
I wouldn't mind, go for it. Still thinking about those flames??
I got in on group buy when they first made them, I think it was $300The Goodmark cowl or ramair steel hoods are GM approved, identical underside. Downside is it would take some fabrication as their are no kits I know of. Some of the fiberglass hoods you can connect right up to your air intake. The fiberglass isn't as sturdy of a hood and costs more.
