Hahahha i have the same trailer. Is that a 5x8?I picked up mine couple years ago at Lowes.
As soon as I find a good 2500, you can swap it with the Durango.I put 4:10's and Superchips in the Durango, but there's not enough motor for the mountains.....or long hills for that matter
Nice setup.Where the pictures are taken looks like a nice place too.
We will be there over the 4th for a Starquestclub.com meet. Actually Pigeon Forge, but I'm sure we will drive into Gatlinburg and do some things there too.Did you guys to the Tail of the Dragon run?
Finally got around to taking pics of the Seadoo. It's legal this year as well.
I don't have a pic, but towed my 93 Cav to the scrap yard, and here is what I will be towing all summer behind the AV
Your Cav that you got last year took a dump already??
Only lasted 2 months, thinking it overheated and fried the engine, bought it for 300, got 240 for it at the scrapyard, lesson learned
So you spent $30/month. You can't rent a car for that!
The Reason - The reason for buying our AV was to tow our sons race boats during the summer to his races through out the country. Hope our 5.3lt won't let us down. My Silverado 5.7lt did just fine. My first go around using a 5.3 lt. Any input? The total rig weighs in at 2800 lbs.
Mine a three other friends' bikes on our Laughlin run....My buddy's disabled bike....A parade float (two motorcycles and a few guys), plus a DJ w/DJ equipment (turntables & speakers) in the bed, extra speakers strapped to the roof.....My favorite...towing my pup Nero around. He really loves riding in the AV
Hopefully I won't have to do this very often I'm always ready to help out but I hate to have to do this as it means someone is gonna be without their Avy for a while. The second pix is what my camera right above my hitch saw. I love having the second input for that adapter on a switch so it can be live all the time. We were able to keep an eye on things the whole way home.
Whassup with RC Heliguy's Av?
I see that Snugtop in the pix also....I bet that's working out real good for you.
23' TT Love it!!
This is what I started out towing.....3500 ish all up.Selling the boat to get a toy hauler. I will post up when I pull the trigger on it.
Might do that. Have to organize my research first......I can tell you them suckers are HEAVY. The ones that brag about 1/2 ton towable, super lite, blah, blah, are like 5000 empty, +100 gal water at 8lbs/gal, +20 to 40 gallon gas at 6 lbs/gal + dishes and other camping supplies THEN we are going to add a pair of 700 lb street bikes.....I run out of GCVW quick. Because of a couple of our requirements, we are stuck with above 24 to 25 foot. Some of the little ones (19') might be lighter but not by much.......
My wife and I ride a matched pair of Vstar 1100 Silverados....
Okay, I warned everyone the boat was for sale .......the deal is done and I have doubled the size of what my Avay tows. 07 Weekend Warrior Super Lite (Ha -- 5800 empty).....I will post up a thread on how I got here, just got to get past the Christmas rush.

I usually tow whatever needs to be towed. I live out in the country, and that's how I make money on the side. Only pic I have, but I usually have a trailer hooked up stacked with wood as well. This pic was from when I had to pull a rail fence out for a friend on her farm, put all the runners in the AV.
