I proposed a regional for the GM centenial the 3rd week of July in Michigan but they scheduled the Nationals on top of it

Yea, I saw that THE NERVE! Really The National have always been in that time frame, that is why I would like to see a fall Region III event.

with everyone planning vacations around nationals, another week or long weekend would be tough to get time off for,I like the idea of the extended weekend for Bratfest make it a midwest event not just Missouri and Kansas!

Hey Blue, I have to admit I'm one of those that have dropped out of 'site' lately.  Lost my use of a laptop for about 2 months, and when I finally got one of my own, I just went to CAFNA instead of sharing time equally.  I have to apologize......

As for a regional GTG, why not use family friendly places at St Louis???  The arch, the zoo, Budweiser brewery and farm, train museum at Kirkwood, not to mention Six Flags.  And I haven't even hit the web yet for ideas.

I wouldn't mind something in the Terra Haute area, or even Indy... St Louis is about another 2.5 hours down the road from Terra Haute, but then again, I would like to stop by the brewery there!
There are 2 kinds of people: those who Av, and those who Av not!

Sold: White 02 Z71
Currently: 05 Ford Focus Wagon - The Budmobile!  Definitely not an Av, but no payment, no insurance, and no gas!
