Uh, huh! Just wait 'till I blow mine!
It's already got a time slip for 13.96 @ 112 MPH with just the exhaust, fuel injectors, tranny servos and custom written programming in the dyno.
I want 10's too!!! :fast:

I have a good friend that has a 87 LX that ran 9.87@137 2 weeks ago.  I was supposed to go to the track with him that day but me played phone tag till it was too late for me to go.  I weigh about 100 pounds less than him.  He says that he wants me to take it down the track once and see if it can pick up another tenth or so due to the weight difference.

That's who it has to be. I haven't been over there much lately. Did he ever sell the truck; the last I knew he didn't have any takers and had given up.
2002 LPM Z71, factory 4.10s - Magnacharger w/3" pulley, TOG's headers, 216/224-.551/.551-115 cam/pushrods/dual springs/titanium retainers, built tranny, Yank TT2600 stall converter, 24K GVW Tru-Cool tranny cooler,  Flex-A-Lites, ProCold intake, MSD wires & TR6 plugs, 20" Panther Juice 6's, 2.8" rear lowering springs & assorted hardware, J&J Enterprises stainless grille, body-color painted taillight covers. Self-tuned with HP Tuners software.

Cracked rear bumper cover from a run-in with a deer in fall 2008!

I remember he was selling it, but didn't hear any announcement that it sold but I know they were working on a project to put on the Pinks show.

Yeah, that is Parrish's truck.

John Melvin has been running 11's in a SS Silvy and a weak ole Vortech for a few years now in a 5800 AWD truck.

I withdrew the "offensive" post.

I guess the correct response should have been "Why no, I have not got a 10 second truck, nor is any other Avalanche that I know of, although I have something in the works that might actually get me there. Thanks for your question."
