New scanning LOF

Any one have one of these yet? I read the horror stories of the wiring but I believe I can do it. ( may take a few cold ones but what the heck right? ) Looks really cool. OBB

well here it is, I chose to mount this to the bumper lip instead of the tailgate because I didn't want some rugrat tearing it off. After a few hours trying to find a good Hot wire in the back of the truck I said the hell with it and ran it str8 to the battery with an inline fuse and just tapped the other wires in the taillight housings. I found some old phone wire laying around and was able to push it from the back of the truck to the front wheel well through the frame. The pix will show where in the back and the front, also the fuse and the splice in the rear under the bed. The pix of the lights aren't the best as it was a little bright out when I took them. ( Shoulda washed the truck first!) I havn't mastered much with video so I may try to play with that and post on youtube. The turnsignals were real hard to photograph but you can see the amber lights lit up to the ends. I used some really good sealant that comes in strips to bundle up the back splice, this stuff is just about bombproof yet remains flexible in case you would have to remove it. It is a lot of fun looking in your mirror at the people behind you looking at it and making coments. Just wish I could see it! LOL
