Today i recieved a letter from GM stating a recall on 2004 faulty speedometers. Well hell, mine works whenever it wants to. The needle sticks at 80mph when im doing 60mph.Sometime next week im taking it in for replacement.I have to do this before 7 years of ownership or 70,000 miles. Whichever comes first.....ps. There goes my flamed gauges Double-sided tape. I dont think it can be removed.
Hmm now I don't think it will void the recall but if you go in there and ask them if you can receive the replacement unit then take it home and do a transplant and keep your flame guages. Or just talk to the service manager and see if he can talk to one of the techs and maybe they can do it for you SENT FROM MY HTC EVO 4G USING TAPATALK.
Mine is 134000 and went belly up. Dunno why they put on a milage limit. Tach and speedo
