4 cylinder to 8 cylinder transition setting
« on: July 01, 2012, 06:33:09 AM »
Hi everyone. This is my first post.  Has anyone found out, or figured out how to adjust when the 5.3 engine changes from 8 to 4 cylinders. I'm pretty sure it is controlled by vacuum, but I don't know where to adjust it. I know my truck is able to run on the 4 cylinder mode way more than the truck allows. It would really help the gas mileage.
Thanks for your help.
Ron
