Did you find a lot of road dirt and crap up under the cladding or was it pretty clean?I've recently picked up a Haynes manual for the truck, but I'm not sure if it details stuff like body mouldings.I've looked at the '07s and wonder if they are installing the door bumpers in the same holes that are used for the cladding clips.I noticed in the shout box that you are painting your cladding. :thumb: Are you doing this yourself or is some body shop doing it???I was wondering if I would be better off removing the cladding, sail, and all the plastic and having it painted black. If I did that I could just wax the whole truck and not worry about oxidized plastic.
I wonder what that should cost?? ??? How do they paint them?? ??? I mean is it auto paint that is baked under lamps? I wouldn't think you could do that to plastic...but then again maybe this isn't ordinary plastic.More reading to do............. :-[
