I apologize for the lack of updates about the Pocono Regionals. There has been a lot happening behind the scenes but I didn't want the rumors and speculation to start so I didn't want to post anything until confirmed.

Very early after the announcement of the event the attendee list started to grow. And grow... and grow... and grow. The anticipated attendance for this event was far above anything I had considered. Efforts shifted to trying to secure a hotel that could accomodate us, but unfortunately we were unable to find one in the Pocono area.

With a mid to large regional event in the makings we quickly discovered that the Pocono area would not be able to accomodate our group.

A number of options were tossed around and in the end we decided to move this event to an area where our group could be accomodated.

This event will now be held in the Carlisle, PA area. Hotel arrangements have been made and will be posted as soon as I hit submit on this post. Details on events and activities will be posted in the next few days.

The event will still be held on the same dates, which I realize aren't far away. We have some good staff that are working together to make this event happen and we're going to do everything we can to put on a great event for you.

This event will be registration fee free. We want everyone to come out and have a good time and get to meet and greet everyone else. This event will be a little different than the other regional events you've come to know. We want you to come out and have a good time. Hang out with your fellow Avalanche enthusiasts, mod your trucks and enjoy yourselves.

So with that said, I hope you will be able to join us this September 14th-16th in Carlisle, PA!
