Topic: 2010 Avalanche Z71 MAF & PCV questions

 Over the weekend I got a good look at my Avs engine bay. First I lifted up the engine cover and noticed on the air intake silincer tube I have a pcv valve mounted on it. Does any one have that on there AVs? Second my air box lid is one piece meaning the maf is built into it. Does any one else AV have this set up?

Ok so what would you like to know?  All 07 + Av's have the same stock set up unless you change for a  CAI.

But what I'm reading is there different. On my 05 you could remove the maf  but on my 10 the maf is built into the stock air box lid. So if I wanted a cai I'll need to buy a maf. I was wondering why some avs have this set up and others don't?

HHmmmm  I just cleaned my Maf and K&N..  I have not had my stock on in 3 years.  I may have to look at a Stock one..  Can you post a pic?

So would this b my maf? Just unbolt it from the tube and lift out?

HHmmmm  I just cleaned my Maf and K&N..  I have not had my stock on in 3 years.  I may have to look at a Stock one..  Can you post a pic?

Not in my 08. I have a tube about 3 in's wide that screws on to the CAI and the sensors are in that..
