been thinking of doing my own muffler swap only but I'm not sure on the size of the pipe and want to be sure before I do any cutting.

The stock system is 3" in and dual 2-1/4" out. If your truck is stock, that's what you should stay with. If you don't want dual out, go with 3" out also.

Finally had some time today and found a shop here in town that is going to put a Flowmaster 50 SUV on my AV-total for the muffler and install is $159.00.  :woot:   MUCH better than the first shop I went to!  He asked if I wanted just the muffler or the whole catback, and I told him muffler only.  His response was "no problem"...such a difference!  Anyone else have the same muffler?  How's it sound?  I like the sound of it on the flowmaster site, but of course it's probably different in real time....

Had the Flowmaster 50 SUV put on Saturday before I left for Bratfest--Sounds GOOD!  I'm really pleased with it..  Has a deep sound, but not too loud and just a slight background tone in the cab.  SOOO glad I had this done!!
