Man, that 'before' truck looks familiar!  Gotta love that color.  What year is yours?  I curious as to when they stopped using the Z66 emblems.

I believe in 05 they started with the "LT"(or whatever else they call them) badges.

Mine is an 04-and I really love the color too!  I'd been looking for a while and has seen several Av's, but when I saw this one, it was love at first sight!   ;D

Added a small chrome strip on the tailgate-too much?  What do you think?





I also found out that the tailgate is NOT metal!  Got a faux license plate (magnatized) and was going to put it on the tailgate and the darn thing wouldn't stick!  Fiberglass?  It sticks on the sides of the AV, but not the back  :dunno:  I'll have to figure something else out to do with it:

no, the tailgate skin is not metal.  It's that protec stuff they use.  Can you imagine how heavy it would be if they used metal?
