snowsport plow + curt front receiver
« on: January 14, 2012, 04:02:00 PM »
So we got the 1st major snow yesterday and today.  I was prepared. I had picked up a snowsport plow on craigslist and a curt front hitch receiver at the end of 2011.  I have pictures I'll post in a bit.  The whole setup works great!  Sure it's not hydraulic or automatic, but that also means there's less stuff to break.  What took me 45 (cold) minutes to an hour to plow with the garden tractor now takes me all of 15 or 20 (warm) minutes.

So for about $800 I have my plowing solution that will keep me warm.

Very nice simple plow! I like it. I could see adding a small ATV winch , a couple pulleys and a wireless remote to raise and lower it.
Thanks for posting.
