Dvd headrest install help
« on: November 17, 2011, 11:23:15 AM »
Wiring is no problem but I can't find info on how to fish the wiring from the headrest posts down through the seats.  I beds to do this for both seats on both posts.  Any help is appreciated

Are the monitors already in the headrests or are you putting them in your headrests?

When I put in my Myron & Davis headrests, all I had to do was realease the seat cover at the bottom of the seat on the back. You can then stick your hand up behind the cover and grab the wires and pull them down. The release on teh seat cover is a plastic tube like bar attached to teh seat cover and hooks under the frame. Once that is released it will give you a little bit of room.

What kind did you get? I am trying to sell my Myron & Davis set. Only used twice while I had them and have been sitting tin the garage in a box for a couple of yrs now.

Bullbar, Sailpanel LED'S, Elec Tgate & Sbag Locks, Custom Decals, Ventvisors, Lund Bug Guard, Amber's, All 4 Hi FTDRL, Mag Lite/Fire Ext Mod, Headrest Monitors, bedslide

Hey Donnie, they are power acoustic 8.8 inch touch screen monitors, they are already  preinstalled the headrest.  I'll try looking for that.

If yu are talking about the one at the bottom of the seat, you have to push forward and down on it.

If you are talking about the headrest, you have to use a finish nail in the hole at the base of the headrest. There is a hole in the plastic piece on the top of the seat. Push the nail in there and pull up on the headrest.

It was the bottom plastic thing.  Ended up using brute force to get it off.  Got tired of being nice to it
