SHORTY ANTENNA MOD
enjoy eveybody i have done this mod to almost all my cars and to alot of my friends cars.. gives it a real clean look and still keep the reception..

if you decied to do this mod please use a glove! i had bad luck once and hot solder shot out and i had 3rd degree burns on my hand and wrist

MODS: Remote starter ,Alpine DVD, Stampede Chrome Bug Shield and Vent Visors, AllonHigh, Ambers, and FTDRL, Diamond plated bed covers,Sail Panel LEDs, HID fogs, Bumper Cup Holders,Mag lite.

Future:Bedslide, Wig wag turn signals, light bar,  more as they come to me...

would love to see it when its back up and running, lol.  I was thinking of shaving my antenna, but using a shorty antenna to complete the mod without using wire ties as a permanent solution, :P  I think the whole thing may cost $50 altogether, but will look awesome when its done.  I will also, speaking of writeups, make sure to snap lots of photos when I screw the angle iron to my no 3 panel to correct the sagging.  That same writeup will also provide instructions for mounting padlocks to even better secure the panels.

Question, however...Instructions were vague on how to properly install my factory integration adaptor for my chimes, which do not currently work, and I fear I will not pass inspection without them.  Anyone know how this damn thing works? lol thank you!

Dunno what was going on with that. I think it was in the permission setting and I think I corrected that. I c/p'd the article into a new thread and made the needed changes to the link in the first thread here.
