Looking for a place to Mud
« on: August 03, 2011, 03:51:00 AM »
I am in the midst of relocating to the quad cities (rock island, davenport) area just for clarity not sure if there is another quad cities but to be safe. But my main question is if any of the locals know about any good mudding areas or fun spots to go mess around with your truck. Just got a lift on my truck so itching to test it out.

I'm about 4 (maybe more) hours away from you, but there's a state-run off-road vehicle recreation area within a half hour of me (Redbird SRA, or at least that's what it used to be called).  Jeep premiered a new model there for the press a few years back.  I managed to get our 4x4 Suburban hung up there due to the amount of rear overhang (buried the hitch receiver).

18x10 Forged Weld Wheels, BFG g-Force KDWs, JBA shorties, custom catback with FM70, Crane plug wires, Trailblazer Torque Converter, bigger cam, efans, HP Tuners custom tune, WAAG stuff, mildly boosted with Vortech Supercharger.......
