After seeing it at Bratfest, I think it looks great. Pretty rugged looking and I think it should last for quite a while. You figure they do truck beds which gets all kinds of crap thrown in them and they hold up pretty well.

I like that textured look.  However, I would definitely take advantage of the chemical properties of the truck bed liner, whether it be spray or roll-on.  Turns out, you can apply some engine enamel, which comes in almost any color, which, when bonded with the bed liner, will further protect the applied surface from physical and elemental abuse, and look cool too.  The only thing I have left to ask is, should I do this to my truck?  I think yes only because i will probably never have to do it again, unlike the Krylon Fusion.

Thank you!
Jon

Holding up very well, actually better than I originally thought. This is a spray on process.

I was thinking of doing all the cladding (upper and lower) mirrors and possibly mirrors. From the pics it looks to be done using a spray gun or is that out of a can? How much did you use, and where can I find this wonderful stuff?

Jesus...sometimes i wonder why i post half the crap i do, lol.

This summer we will be venturing to lowes, buying out their supply of truck bed liner, and hitting up all the cladding and textured surfaces with it.  My only hesitations are that i dont know if i want to do the textured flares. I want to get the pocket-style flares, for my OE ones are all scratched up, plus they look better. No sense in painting them if I'm not going to use them.  I was also hesitating on using the bed liner on my bumpers as well, versus just painting them black.  All kids of ideas are floating around and I would love some input.  Thanks!

I had this done at a local shop so I would say it's probably from a spray gun.
