Chad,
My new truck will be here Monday and it had the sunroof if you want to drive up to Denver for someBBQ and beers we could call it "research". :fast:
[/quote

We just may have to do that... all in the name of research and development, of course that would mean that you would get yours for less, being the prototype right. We may be able to work something out. Id like to see your new truck, hopefully we will be doing a GTG soon if nothing else, I should see it then.

Thanks everyone, Im glad you like it. I can make some for you if you want. I can ship the engraved plate for around $30. I could change the text on it to most anything you want. You would have to backlight and install switches yourself but that isnt too hard. I have sold a few with just the Avalanche Logo acrossed it and then they have back lit it. It looks really nice as well.  It would look really good on a red AVE with the plate backlit red. Anyway let me know, Its a cool way of customizing your rig...

those look great, but after all the time I spent getting my DVD player to fit in the upper cubby, I don't think it'll work with mine any more.

Chad, I have no problem sending my cubby over to you for research if you would like.  I'm looking at possibly 5 switches with just very minor illumination.  It would be to replace the emergency light switches on my center console.

Pondfly,
I may not need your cubby, it depends on which one you have. If it looks like mine I already have a really good idea, but if its one with the Sunroof controls, I am currently working on it. I know a few here that have it and have let me get measurments and am in the process of getting one done. In the first case 5 switches would be simple, in the sunroof case, its going to be reallllllllllllll tight, but tell me which one you have that way I can at least get some ideas down. Also, what do you mean by a little illumination? just a little text or what.

Thanks,
Chadster
