any recommendations on a place to stay?  Better yet, where not to stay...

We stayed at the Country Inn and Suites next to the IHOP last year in St Peters (about 3 miles from the park). It was really nice. Clean and a good breakfast.

I've got an email from Country Inn. It's telling me that if I book 2 or more nights for stays between now and Oct 1st. I get 35% off. I'm sure it has to be paid up front but that's like getting a free night. I have to book between now and July 12th. It comes out to  $62.18 per night plus tax.  Time to do some button clicking.

They have a deal that if you pay upfront within 21 days of your stay it's 20% off. This one didn't require upfront payment. I had my choice of a King bed or 2 queens. No kids this year so we took the king. Save the 2 beds for someone else that needs two beds.

If we go we'll get a King as well.  My wife REALLY wants to see St Louis and she even liked the idea about the ballgame, she's just worried about leaving the dogs with my mother one weekend and then for an entire week 4 days later.  If she can get over that we're a strong possibility.

That game's always a sell out due to playoff races. I'd get tickets now if you can get her to commit.

oh, about the dogs. We have 3 and always use a college kid from church to house/dog sit for us. They make a couple of bucks and we're not leaving the house empty or the dogs somewhere else.

I sent them an email asking about group rates but there may be a work around. I have not received a reply back yet.

thinkING about it it does look more like a Orange crayon. I'm making reservation at hotel so ill have no trailer. tried uploading but cac has banned me from uploading pics.

CAC has not banned you from uploading pix. I'm having the same issue with my Droid as you are.
