Yeah, I'm gonna move the antenna down for a while see how my reception is before I buy that Escalade piece.

Lemme know what you want for the Billet Strobin! It would be perfect for the Silverado with all of it's chrome! My AV however is on it's way to a total Black out. I'm buying a new bike this week and then the AV will go into the shop for a strip down, new paint, gatorback, and painted taillights! (This working for in auto body is turning out to be great stuff!) :fast:

I took mine off don't need it thanks to XM.... only problem is when I took it in to Chevy, they found the antenna under the back seat and put it back on for me... ::)

Yep, I am definitely doing this mod.  I have been thinking about taking the antenna off for a while because I only listen to Sirius now.  I ordered the escalade part yesterday.  It was only $8.77 on the site in the original post.
