You'll probably want to start by disabling your MAF and checking your VE table but if you want one of us to take a look at a log, let it get good and warm and do a log for 15 minutes or so of you driving in various conditions. Maybe 1 WOT pull.

2011 Silverado, Ext Cab Z-71 5.3, 6L80, Airaid CAI, Magnaflow cat-back, and a little tuning by me and HPT.

Gone but not forgotten, 2002 Victory red. The quickest lifted 4x4 AV in the US in it's day.

Upload both log and tune...... One is no good without the other... I am tuning mine over the next three days so I will have HPT in front of me as long as the Michelob allows.......

Good Luck

ok,will try again this weekend. does hpt reads shift kits? it seems that my 2nd gear is pulling hard since i uploaded hpt to the av.

one more thing.... i think i made the mistake to upload hpt without removing hypertech.

is that bad?

Not bad.  You'll just be using it as a starting tune instead of your stock tune.  Personally, I would want to have a copy of both saved in the computer.

All you have to do is copy the tune with the Hypertech in it, uninstall the hypertech, and copy it again.  (Obviously, saved with a different name.)  You can use the compare feature to see what parameters the programmer changed.

It's interesting.  I have a couple of canned tunes saved as well as a Jesse Bubb tune.

No, because anything in your truck other than a hypercrap tune is an improvement..... :ass1000:

and no HPTuners does not read shift kits... it likes things like War and Peace, The Hobbit, Nancy Drew, etc..... ;D

Suggestion, get back to your stock tune.....remove all traces of anything but stock tune.... then log..... that way we don't have to "fix" hypercrap issues....

Handheld tunes use creative "fixes" to get around certain issues that will drive us nuts down the road..... especially when you finally get around to putting a blower on that thing..... :fast:

I took the day off from tuning....things look better, but I ordered a larger cool can to accept ice and water for the aftercooler so I am dragging my feet until I see what it does to my IAT's.... I also bought my custom intake tubing from Spectre Performance so all the plastic inlet peices to the blower should disappear next weekend....

On a side note, my illegal aliens did not show up again this weekend to do yardwork, so I performed my personal version of the Florida Chainsaw Massacre on my hedges today.... that lasted about an hour before the heat and the Michelob drove me inside to soak up some A/C.... I was lazy today.....

Good morning all..... made another pass this morning on the 2 Bar tune. 75* outside while I was logging and tuning... this is my last log of the morning. It is on a fresh tune with zero time on it.... I think I will let this one settle for a few days....

Notice my IAT's driving around..... even after running the truck for over an hour, the IAT's settle into a 88-90* range.... I love this aftercooler..... :thumb:

Edit: Just found out the beast can hit 6350 rpm in 90* Florida heat and survive...... :o
