All is OK in St. Louis. We had high winds, hail, tornadoes (2 confirmed west of O'Fallon) last night. We had another round with extremely high straight-line winds (blew a small part of the roof off in the office building) late this morning at my work, which is almost downtown.

My heart goes out to all those in Joplin.

Those high winds today were pretty interesting.
A small piece of sheet metal sitting inside the shop by the open OH door got picked up and tagged me in the leg.
Luckily no cuts, just startled.   The door got closed after that. We didn't anything else taking off.

  Ski;
 Around Warrensburg, Mo. all is OK. I was down at the farm Sunday and just got done mowing the yard, when the rain started there. I drove home in hard rain.
  At one time there was a Menber (Tanner) that lived in Joplin, Mo... By the map he lived about 3 blocks N.E. of the Hopital...  NOT GOOD !!!

As Joe (MBT) said, all is OK here in St. Charles/St. Peters area.  The storms that went through here at work (St. Louis) yesterday were pretty strong, high winds, hail....  We also had a small section of the roof at work blown up with one of the vents blown over.  My heart as well goes out to the folks in Joplin, the pictures and TV footage from the damage is horrible.  We are suppose to have more coming through today and tomorrow.

We are ok here in Sedalia as well. My son is ok in Springfield also. I think we had several members down that way that we have not heard from.

Just south of Joplin had another tornado, a mile wide this time.

I also hope Donnie reports in. I haven't had a chance to find out how bad Sedalia got hit.

There are multiple confirmed tornadoes in St. Louis right now, with hail all over the place. The wind is swirling in all directions and it's raining cats & dogs.

Donnie is OK, the south side of Sedalia got hit pretty bad.

KC had 10-14 reports of tornadoes and basically the whole metro area was under a tornado warning for an hour or two.  I was out in my AV going to a lunch meeting when the warning was issued.    Not a fun feeling.

Y'all buckle down and stay safe. We had beautiful weather for the drive down today. A few brief sprinkles in OKC and that was it.

Sorry I didn't check in sooner folks. The tornado was about a mile south of us and within 100 yds of our daughters apartment. She was at our house at the time so all is good. Even though it was that close, her apartment is unscathed. South 65 hwy and just northeast of there is a disaster area. Looks like a bomb was dropped in there. I am completely amazed at the power of mother nature. We had a high end EF-2 here in Sedalia so I can only imagine what Joplin is like. I have some pics on my facebook page and I'll get some on here tomorrow. Youtube has some pretty good videos from the area as well.

Thanks for the concern.
