I scored a factory soft tonneau cover for my avy. i work at a salvage yard and we finnasly have a avalanche come in. its a 02 also so it matches my cladding :D pics later when i put it on.
We had the soft tonneau cover on widow's '06 Avalanche. Worst mistake we ever made with any of our AV's, bar none.
I know that Fowlhunter was in a little fender bender and was looking for some cladding parts and running boards for his AV. You didn't say what might still be available off this unit, but you may be able to help him out!
its hit front and rear but has good running boards
I thot about it, and I may think about going with a soft tonneau cover for my avy, only because I see the back panel sagging every time i look in the rear-view, ugghhh.... and i dont really feel like screwing in some metal to reinforce it, even if i get to secure the panels as well with padlocks. any idea how much they run for? Thank you.JonP.S. - my avy's nickname is the bloodhound, lol.
I'm going the Didit route to fix the sag in my #3 panel as soon as I get around to it. I've been known to not mind drilling holes all over my Avy
What is the Didit route to fix the #3 panel?
I'll have to find that thread with the pix.never mind. He didn't post the pixhttp://www.chevyavalancheclub.com/index.php/topic,12203.msg97665.html#msg97665
Is it possible to post picks of the running boards? Do you have any idea what the boards would sell for? Thanks!
