Ebay. $100 plus $75 shipping from California. Nice price. No bolts though and I'm sure no instructions. It's the right shade of grey.http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2002-2006-Chevy-Avalanche-OEM-GM-Grille-Brush-Guard-_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQhashZitem1c1b21647bQQitemZ120714257531QQptZMotorsQ5fCarQ5fTruckQ5fPartsQ5fAccessoriesCAUTION! new seller. 0 feedback.
yeah i saw that. where would i get all the bolts for it? im gonna have to pass on that one since they have 0 feedback.
A dealer would be able to get the bolts. Either that or trial and error at your favorite hardware store. I've been checking Craig's list also without much luck. I know you have to drill holes in your front bumper cover to mount it also.
hmmm, drilling huh? maybe ill just go with a aftermarket one
Yeah, you have to drill a couple of 2" holes in the plastic.
well aftermarket it is. do you have to drill for those?
I used to have a low profile Waag on mine and it just bolted to the tow hooks. I can't say for any of the others but the stock one is the only one I've seen. When looking around, see if they have a .pdf of the installation instructions available on the website of the one you're looking at.
yeah i was looing at the lower waag one. i like that also. how come you took it off?
Do ya really need 2 inch holes?? that would seem to be awfully big...
Well I just put in a bid... got 16 hours to figure out how I'm gonna put this thing on lol you say drill holes into the cladding? I take it that this mounts to the bumper or the frame... n do you think it will bolt up to the tow hooks?Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk
