Topic: CAC Sticker and Decal

Hi everyone!  I just purchased the CAC back-window decal for my Avy.  I didn't see an already existing thread about this, but just wanted to let everyone know that I got one!  Who else has one?  How about just the sticker?  I'm curious to see how many people actually have one, the other, or both.  Thank you!

Yep that's him. Like he said, lots have them. Ours is across the back glass like his. some have put them across the top of the widnshield as well.

I think I might go across the back.  Less often do people notice things on the front of peoples trucks esp since theyre heading in the opposite direction.  The poor bastard that just got passed by your avy is more likely to see the decal, lol.  Thank you!

I've got two windows and two decals.

This one is down low and my preferred location


I have a few other decals under this one so it went higher. This is the first one I did. It's a little hard to see past the flag rack but you can see how high up it is. It can be a real pain to see through.

I have the small one on the back glass on the top left.....I might have to get the bigger one for the top of the windshield, since I already have a sticker in the center of the rear glass.

I'm sorry...I laugh every time I see an Avy with a cap, lol.  Where I live, theres a lady who has the gmt800 model avy and keeps her cap on all the time...Isnt that like a suburban then?

anyway, so yes I am going to go across the bottom of the glass with my big decal, however it is a good idea, OBB, that I have 2 windows for the back.  one stays in, while the other is clipped in place.

I dont have any stickers yet, I'm waiting till my daughter graduates next year to remove all the school stickers on my back window.....Jon I agree with you the caps on the Avy doesnt look good at all !!!

I unfortunately had to take mine off.   


I had other stickers on the backglass, so I had it high and couldn't see what was behind me.  And also, I was planning on selling the AV for a new one, so it was removed and I have to keep the AV for now.

I had the sticker on my windshield. Unfortunately that sticker went to avalanche heaven with the old truck. not sure if I am putting any more stickers on the new one. Probably will put the big one on the windshield again once the trucks together and I can figure out what I wanna do.

What I would have done, and it might have been worth it, providing you were going to keep the avy, would be to get a 2nd back window, like ohiobellboy did.

I plan on strictly enforcing the placement of stickers to my children (when I have some :P) ANYWHERE on or inside the car.  Theres nothing more sickening than driving up alongside a GM suv or truck that has hello kitty stickers plastering the inside windows!  I feel like what happens to the 3 dudes at the end of raiders of the lost ark, like im so sickened, my head might shrink, melt, or just blow up, :P

I just picked that window up to have a spare. I was scavenging parts off of an 02 in a junk yard and offered the guy a ridiculously low amount for the window and he took it.

I could use a spare that didn't have a broken frame, maybe I should just repair this one?
