Author Topic: Carlisle All Truck Nationals August 5-7 (Read 2429 times)

Ok guys so I am currently in contact with Carlisle trying to set up a Gtg there for this years. I am working on getting a tent for us buy I need to get a rough idea of how many trucks would show. It's august 5-7 with judging occurring on the 6. And it's at Carlise fair grounds in PA. So this is to see how many people are interested. So if youd go post up so I can get an idea.

Just so you all know it's about 3 1/2-4 hours from the GWB..There are a few campgrounds but they fill up fast.. They used to let you camp on ground.. But lets just say they don't do that for this show anymore.. And I have some pics for WHY they don't.... It is a fun weekend. and it does take a full 2 days to walk through and see everything. Unless you have spent Tons of time and $$$$ on your ride I would just enter in the Fun field and enjoy the show.. Their are trailer Queens that win every year.. It is my Birthday weekend So maybe Steph will let me go...

I'm in! I always take 2 weeks vaca about that time, and usually a trip to Carlisle All Truck Nationals is the cherry on top to, last year for instance, Martha's Vineyard (so beautiful!) Anyway, count me in, AvyPrncss! Will we need to worry about paying anyone when we get there? Im soo excited!

It's. Gonna depend a lot on how many people we get and what's going on. I will post more info when I get the planning Kit from the show hosts.

Don't worry too much about the tent. Depending on the schedule, I might be able to get one if I go.

Its not a Rumor. Truth told they found 10 bodies so far and counting. They havent scoured the entire beach yet. I keep trying to convince people to let me go try and find him but they all tell me its not such a good idea. they think that I would do damage beyond "self defense"

I agree, lol...my g/f is originally from staten island and shes bitched at, beat up, and terrorized drama queens, and even some men, when she moved up here to the binghamton area and started going to high school. I cant imagine how much more brutal a long islander, the same place one of my best friends grew up, could be to a serial killer. GIVE 'EM HELL!!

10 bonus points if the avyprncss avalanche delivers the killing blow, lol.

hey enkei, I'm awake...however, my hopes of parking my avy in the car corral at the carlisle's all truck nationals event is a dream thats sailed away. Turns out that the deadline to do that was early may. I havent heard anything from anyone on here about a gtg at carlisle that weekend. but i will be down there with my girlfriend and her family. Hope to see some club members there.

the thing i dont like is, some people get there wednesday night and set up for thursday, some for thurs night and set up for friday, and then theres some who just plain leave early...i want to see your stuff people! lol

Well I got a email from a friend at Hellwig. She asked if I would like to have my Avalanche in the LTAA Booth (Sema The Light-Truck Accessory Alliance) at the show. So I told her Hell ya!!!!! So I am waiting to hear back now...

Cool... I will be getting out there on Thur. It looks like my truck will be parked at the show the whole weeekend so I will be driving around in my fathers White Lexus ES-350.

I'm starting to think that i might not be able to show the Bloodhound for this event; funds are dwindling, and now I found out that I will be going down Friday night for Saturday and maybe sunday. soo ticked but what can i do? I'll just shrug it off and maybe Ill be able to show at Fall carlisle. I will look out for you though! Thank you!

Sat is the day.... Fri Will be big too.. The hotel I'm staying at is reasnable,,, with AAA it was $79 per night..

Anyway Saw my cap today Gotta run some wires before it goes back on next week..

My house closing is Friday so it looks like I'm gonna be sitting out another show this year. We ar closing this week and then I'm gonna he planning a housewarming party. Not to mention painting everything this weekend hopefully. If anyone us bored in the ct area the next two weeks I'll have beer and food.

OMFG that was a laugh and a half! Too bad it rained...I was looking forward to getting my MAF sensor cleaned. It was a good show otherwise.
