Hope you have a safe and fun trip. If you decide to hit Dollywood, Monday would be less crowded in the park and less traffic in and around Pigeon Forge. I-40 West from Haywood County NC to Tenn line is a dangerous stretch. Lots of curves and with the high divider wall limited sight distances, just watch your speed in that area from mm 27 to the state line. It's highly patrolled and a no tolerance zone on speed because of the high number of wrecks on that stretch. There's a back way into Dollywood from I-40 exit at Cosby, Tenn that misses a lot of traffic and red light congestion if you would like to see some back roads. Here's you something else to check out in that area if you have time:http://musclecarmuseum.com/
Are you refering to the one that runs you by the bush's bean factory? Cause I really enjoy running throught there myself just to avoid alot of the traffic
NopeI go: I-40 west to Foothills Parkway exitLeft on Hwy 32 (Cosby Hwy)Right on Hwy 321/73 towards GatlinburgRight on 416 (Pitman Center Road) this road is curvy but a scenic drive. There's a lot of the vacation cabins on this road.At Stop sign at Birds Creek Rd make a left and go about 100 yds (there's signs for Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge)Turn Right onto Upper Middle Creek Rd (this will take you to the road to Dollywood entrance)Stay on Upper Middle Creek Rd to go into Pigeon Forge on the back 5 lane running parallel to Hwy 321/441 through Pigeon ForgeThere's very little traffic on 416 and you won't hit a red light until you pass Dollywood's entrance
I dont see you driving by Illinois
Ohio, Illinois and Missouri this year too. They're on the list but no specific plans yet.Going to try and do a trip every month or every other month.
