That would be the Mt. Pilot from the Andy Griffith Show. Grandfather Mountain is as far as I have been up that way. It's a little bit of a stretch for a day trip for me. Do you have any more info on the cruise ins?

The web site is http://www.hotnightshotcars.com/, they start in may and do them the first saturday of the month through september or october. They are really fun to go to, usually anywhere between 800 - 1200 cars show up. Live music and good food too!

There was all most one up there a few years back,  but the weather turned bad and it ended up at the house instead..

It's gotten as far as the TV show "Monster Quest" getting involved. Some dude down that way was supposed to take them on a "Quest" a few weeks ago. :uglystupid2:
