Topic: 08 Avy, Having issues with front speakers

So we purchased our Avalanche about 3 months ago now. But since the day we got it, I have had issues with the front door speakers. Both the drivers and passangers side keep going on and off. I also notice if I go to start the car, and the bing is low, then the front speakers arn't going to turn on. It works for a few days, and then stops working. Since I am new to the Avalanche, does the 2008 have an Amp, or do you think its just the speakers in the door?

First off, What do you mean by the "bing" being low?

Does it have Bose on the speakers? It should have a factory amp in there. I'm on my way out the door and I'm sure someone will chime in soon with more help.

It does not have the bose system in it. What I mean by the bing, I should say the chime. The noise that the car makes when you turn it over.

NonBose?  08 Could just be bad speakers. Have you looked at them yet? (taken the doors off?) Also Welcome..
