what about static electricity or electrical charges near the gas tank?
Quote from: myscndfvrtride on January 23, 2007, 08:32:03 PMwhat about static electricity or electrical charges near the gas tank? That's a reason I haven't put LED's on the bolts that hold my billet fuel door on . . . I've already caught the AV on fire once, no need for a 2nd time.
how'd it start?
Quote from: myscndfvrtride on January 23, 2007, 09:50:49 PMhow'd it start?Quick to get a mod to work, didn't have wire loomed, hood hinge grabbed the wire (oh yeah I didn't believe in fuses at the time) and KABOOM!
:thumb:
The sub enclosure with the multicolor LED kit in it is awesome :thumb:VIDEO

Sweet, line-x on the cladding.
Defitneltly im shooting for the 2 tone look :thumb:
Quote from: BlueDevil on February 23, 2007, 08:20:50 PMDefitneltly im shooting for the 2 tone look :thumb:I like a two tone effect just never cared for the fade style. I like the one on the home page by Bell Tech.
I like the fade but it sucks to get repaired. And I don't really like those AV's because of the covers they use on the bed cladding.
Chicago Auto Show from a friend on another site.
I found these on photobucket...What do you think of these? :thumb: WAY out of my budget...
That's not Kruk's red AV, is it?
Quote from: tdybr27 on July 18, 2007, 11:39:47 AMThat's not Kruk's red AV, is it? I don't think so, his is a brighter red and has different wheels.
That's a metallic red/orange. That Honda must be affecting his vision.

Here's the latest I've seen of Kruk's :thumb:
Flat black I LIKE I LIKE (flat colors seem to be in this year at SEMA)
Quote from: jedibr27 on October 22, 2006, 09:49:54 PMYeah but you have to remember, he drinks that "ice water" like it truly is ice waterTrue but I took a slug or two without making a face I have a beer drinking rule at my house that rhymes. "The one that landed on the floor is in the door" If you drop an unopened can of beer it goes in the door tray so it has time to settle down :drink:
Quote from: Strobin on November 05, 2007, 08:40:48 PMFlat black I LIKE I LIKE (flat colors seem to be in this year at SEMA)man, thats HOTTT. I was thinking about flat black for mine. after asking 5 people and getting 5 NFW's I backed out. I might have to reconsider now.
Flat black? Well, at least you wouldn't have to spend as much time waxing your Av...
Quote from: MoAv on November 06, 2007, 06:03:08 PMFlat black? Well, at least you wouldn't have to spend as much time waxing your Av... waxing would require me to wash it. I think its been washed once since mid August... OK, maybe twice. Since then, its had about 6K miles put on it..... it might be time to throw some water on it.
Hmmmm...Yuk!!Ok,let me take a second look......Yup - still yuk! Unique is the only word I'd go for with that Av!!
No sir, didn't like it! Couldn't even see the bottom half
What bottom half?
And beauty may be in the eyes of the beholderBEER HOLDER... but this is definitely a UNIQUE Av
Now I'd drive THAT Av Very cool
is there an AV you WOULDN'T drive?
Didn't get a photo but I will if I see it again. BlueDevil, there is a an Arrival Blue with painted cladding and sail panels in this area. I spotted it west of Flint as it crossed Flushing Road the other day. Maybe Flyin Eagle has seen it over his way, I didn't get a good look. Even my wife realized it wasn't an Escalade, sure looked like one at first glance. We play count the Avalanches and Caddys don't count (my rule)
I wonder if that's the same one as this one before it was painted
