Tuning with HPTuners

I thought that someone needed to make a post in this area.


As many of you know I tune with HPT.

I used to hate the term "tuner" it made me think of the ricers but now I guess I am one but I can drive over their ricers :kickass:

2011 Silverado, Ext Cab Z-71 5.3, 6L80, Airaid CAI, Magnaflow cat-back, and a little tuning by me and HPT.

Gone but not forgotten, 2002 Victory red. The quickest lifted 4x4 AV in the US in it's day.

Don't feel bad Blue.  It's amazing to have that much control of you vehicle but it's the most complicated thing that I've ever tried to learn and there aren't any instructions  :-\

I think it's something that you can spend years doing and there's always more to learn and understand.

Hopefully i can get things done before Huntsville next year!

The big GTG won't be at Huntsville next year and I doubt that there will be a drag strip where it's at.  Which brings a thought to mind.  A mid-west race weekend?  there should be a strip somewhere in southern IL or SE MO that we could meet up at.


I'm sure that MBT and I would make it.  That's 2 FI trucks.  It's close enough that the very active TN crew would be repersented there.  The TX crew is always willing to travel.  There are always a few that are willing to make a long trek to a GTG.

What do you think?

Here in my town,we have an oval track Quincy Raceways for some sort of race cars. Nothing like nascar but is fun to watch wearing ear plugs.I go there 4-5 times during the summer months.

Anywho...last i heard,they want to build a drag strip. In the works? i dont know.I think theres lots of things involded like:zoning and things like that. Maybe is money but im not sure.

OK. For some reason,Flash didnt go thru. I disabled (TM) and tried to reflash.

It failed in "Writing entire VCM"  any ideas?     :macrocks:
