Topic: Tuning with HPTuners

I used to hate the term "tuner" it made me think of the ricers but now I guess I am one but I can drive over their ricers

Proud to say i have one too but dont know how to use it yet. Im just working on the hardware first,then on the software :thumb:

Don't feel bad Blue.  It's amazing to have that much control of you vehicle but it's the most complicated thing that I've ever tried to learn and there aren't any instructions  :-\

I think it's something that you can spend years doing and there's always more to learn and understand.

I used it twice since i bought it 2 weeks ago. Ive been spending money instead

The big GTG won't be at Huntsville next year and I doubt that there will be a drag strip where it's at.  Which brings a thought to mind.  A mid-west race weekend?  there should be a strip somewhere in southern IL or SE MO that we could meet up at.


I'm sure that MBT and I would make it.  That's 2 FI trucks.  It's close enough that the very active TN crew would be repersented there.  The TX crew is always willing to travel.  There are always a few that are willing to make a long trek to a GTG.

I think is a good idea. It be cool if we find a track for everybody that wants to come tho'.

Here in my town,we have an oval track Quincy Raceways for some sort of race cars. Nothing like nascar but is fun to watch wearing ear plugs.I go there 4-5 times during the summer months.

Anywho...last i heard,they want to build a drag strip. In the works? i dont know.I think theres lots of things involded like:zoning and things like that. Maybe is money but im not sure.

OK. For some reason,Flash didnt go thru. I disabled (TM) and tried to reflash.

It failed in "Writing entire VCM"  any ideas?

I've never had a problem.  Did you get it straightened out?
