KOS-V500 A/V amp Kenwood

Does anyone have this A/V amp or is familiar with this ? I had gotten for christmas due to I am starting up my all new kenwood theater and just wondering if anyone is familiar with this box....also i have an 02 so i do not know if that will change anything or what

I have never worked with it but I have heard some good things about it...   Just remember the sound is only as good as the sorce I would always replace your head unit..

yea do you know a good head unit for 02 z66? so far i got 6 3/4 speakers 12" subs that v500...im looking to buy my amp soon.

For a head unit go with the higher end Kenwood, Or Alpine  What speakers did you get? I had a massave system in my old 02 Av...  Full 5.1 DTS all JL Audio Amps,Speakers and Subs. And Kenwood Head,Screens in the head rest and 5.1 processor.

well im trying to keep a good budget atm but i got Kenwood KFC-P708 P Series 6-3/4" component speaker system from crutchfield

For the price that Crutchfield has them for a very good buy. Just remember until you get some good power to them like 40-60 watts don't turn them up all the way. As soon as you start to get distortion turn it down.

For 6 years mounted in my doors was the JL Audio 300/4  75 watts x4 RMS..  A Bullit proof amp when installed right..

Oh nice 6 years :0 hopefully these kenwoods last just as well haha and as for installing i will read other topics but mostly its just connecting to the factory wires correct?

Ok kew thanks again... Also i was lookin up head units that come out of the dash but seems they wont clear the gear shifter...
