I can't speak for the Av since on the 02s you had to use the buttons on the door panel. However, our 08 Enclave does not have the feature either. The owner's manual indicates it should and I programmed the remotes multiple times trying to get it to work. I asked the Service Manager when we had it in for a recall and he said it had been disabled in the bcm because of problems with reliability.
I have a 03, and I dont have the button on my door, or a remote. But my Computer TEX says "Driver One " Everytime i turn it on. Does this mean I have the option also?
I've been researching this for a few hours now. Supposedly a TechII can fix this but it isn't recommended. I just figure with the prices of these vehicles that would be one thing they would want to keep the customers happy with. From the understanding I'm getting from googling the hell out of this subject, it's all controlled in the cluster. I think it's time I contact DDS about it and see what they say.
I read that same post. I sent a message to DDS on eBay about it. I'm waiting to see what he says.
DDS ?
