The Amp you are using has had issue's with noise but you say it's coming from the other speakers. What harness did you use for the new radio to Bose Amp?

its a schoche harness and it is used so i dont have to cut the factory harness its a plug n play set up. i havent done anything to the factory amp. i didnt know that the avalanchehad a factory amp till i started doinf the ftdrl's mod and i looked at the lable on the cap and noticed a fuse that said amp... now you said my amp has had issues with noise, but i had a buddy hookup his audipipe amp and it has the same issue... to be honest i want to go back to my factory radio but like a dumba$$ i threw it away banghead1 banghead1 banghead1 banghead1 banghead1

Sounds to me like you've got a ground loop situation which is picking up electrical noise generated by the alternator, or I suppose it could be on the power leads.  You should run separate leads for power, and ground unless grounded to the chassis, back to the same point(s).  If you daisy chain around and form a loop somewhere, vice say "spokes", you create a loop antenna which is effective at picking up electrical noise.  In a building, you'd hear a 60 hz hum in a ground loop situation, with a small 60 hz signal running around the ground loop which would be picked up by a PA system for instance.

Edit - you should probably also look for instances where you have grounded a shield wire at both ends of a shielded cable, most likely feeding an amp.  The loop could be with the shield and the other ground path back through the chassis or a power lead.  You only need to ground a shield at one end of a shielded cable.

i must of overlooked this post... now that i think of it i have coiled my power cable because i had too much of it and i didn't want to cut it... I'm also thinking of changing the ground location.. right now its on one of the mounts of the rear seat.. i scratched it to bare metal but I'm gonna look for another location
