The amp should be under your console. Take out the storage unit in the cosole, four screws under the liner and you should see it. But I think you may have to remove the whole console to swap it out.
You may have to bypass it completely and rewire the speakers.
You need to keep that amp for your chimes and such. Enkei is pretty good with this stuff. He'll see the post soon I'm sure.
Ok Ok Sorry been busy guys... What kind of amp and what is it powering? JUst a Sub? or did you get a 5Ch for all the speakers and a sub? What speakers are you using? Stock or Aftermarket? With the right wire harness you might have to turn on the factory amp to get sound from the speakers.. I need more info please...
The Amp you are using has had issue's with noise but you say it's coming from the other speakers. What harness did you use for the new radio to Bose Amp?
If I remember right there is a Blue and white wire that you need to hook up for power for the factory amp..
Sounds to me like you've got a ground loop situation which is picking up electrical noise generated by the alternator, or I suppose it could be on the power leads. You should run separate leads for power, and ground unless grounded to the chassis, back to the same point(s). If you daisy chain around and form a loop somewhere, vice say "spokes", you create a loop antenna which is effective at picking up electrical noise. In a building, you'd hear a 60 hz hum in a ground loop situation, with a small 60 hz signal running around the ground loop which would be picked up by a PA system for instance.Edit - you should probably also look for instances where you have grounded a shield wire at both ends of a shielded cable, most likely feeding an amp. The loop could be with the shield and the other ground path back through the chassis or a power lead. You only need to ground a shield at one end of a shielded cable.
