After I liked the HIDs I recently put in my lows I just ordered 55W 880 HIDs for my fog lights. I should be fairly blazing with the lows and fogs on!  :uglystupid2: The 55W system is supposed to be 40% brighter than the 35W system; I figured I'd spring for it since it only cost an extra $10.

jus too warn you man the 55w produce a lot more heat to so make sure ur housing doesnt melt otherwise your looking at new housing and bulbs..i know for a fact around 2002-2005 gm pickups had fog light over heating issues  :dunno:

I've got an 02 cladded - the fog light housings are huge. Heat won't be an issue. I believe it was the WBHs that had the smaller fog lights and heat issues. I've been running modified 80W hi bulbs in my lows and 100W hi bulbs in my headlight housings for several years now with no issues. I should have ditched them for the HIDs a long time ago!  buck2

Do you know if DDM sells these hi\low combo kits?

Yeah, they list the 9004 and the 9007 bulb as a Hi/Low kit. Not sure if they will fit though. If I knew that they did I would have gone that route just so I could flash people who flash me cause of my lights

Those are called bi-xenon kits and no, they won't fit without some type of retrofit. They have three wires in the connector for the bulb and only one ballast. The low/hi setting comes from the bulb physically moving to change the focal point inside the reflector. I've got a set sitting at home waiting for my daughter to come home for a weekend so I can install them. Her 2002 Taurus lights suck, even after installing hi-wattage bulbs.

well I didn't find any reason to have highs. stick the HIDs in the lows and aim your headlights down some and your good to go IMO.
